Charges/Business Terms/Privacy Poli

  • How much does it cost?

As far as I know, my prices are fair and extremely competitive. They are, I believe, the lowest in the area at £52  for a local call out . Prices rise according to distance and for any extra repairs, etc. There is a discount for customers who have two pianos or who have someone else nearby which I can tie in.  Please ask for a quote if in doubt.  I try to be fair and transparent.

How are you paid?

You can pay by cheque, cash or bank transfer.  I do not (yet) have facilities to accept a payment card.     I can also leave an invoice for schools, churches, etc.

  • Some tuners charge extra for tuning a grand piano over an upright.  I charge the same.
  • VAT is not chargeable
  • I will advise a customer if additional work is needed.

Terms and Conditions

  • I will always aim to be punctual for your tuning and will ring you if I am likely to be more than thirty minutes late
  • Cancellations will be charged if less than 24 hours notice is given as it is usually impossible to re-arrange someone else to fit into your allotted time slot.  A charge will also be made if there is no-one there when I arrive. (I will wait a short while)
  • The above are standard business practice.
  • I will do my best to accommodate in the event of an emergency
